On Android, ScoreTap is on Google Play. On iPhone and iPad, get it from the App Store. On computers it is a progressive web app (PWA): open play.scoretap.app once and add it to your home screen.

Open Google Play. Tap the Google Play button below, or search for "Pickleball Remote Scoreboard" in the Play Store on your Android phone or tablet.
Tap Install. The app is free and asks for no permissions. It is a small download that finishes in seconds.

Web app: you can still add ScoreTap to your home screen from Safari if you prefer. The ScoreTap Ring and other Bluetooth remotes work on iOS 16 and later.

Windows, Mac & ChromebookYour device

Open the web app. Go to play.scoretap.app in Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser.
Click the install icon. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose "Install ScoreTap".
Pin it. The app opens in its own window. Pin it to your taskbar or dock for one-click access at the club.

Big screen: cast or plug a laptop into a TV at the club and use a presenter clicker or keyboard keys to score from the court.

Why a web app on iPhone and desktop?

Installing from the browser gives you the same full-screen scoreboard as the store version, with no app-store account, no permissions and instant updates. Everything is cached on first load, so the court does not need Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Can the site install the app for me?

Browsers only allow an install prompt from the page that owns the app, so this page cannot trigger it for play.scoretap.app. Tap "Open web app" above and the install banner appears on the app itself on desktop. On iPhone, Apple requires the manual Share, then Add to Home Screen steps for every web app.

Updating

Google Play and App Store builds update through their stores. The web app updates itself the next time you open it with a connection.
